Honestly? Today has been something of a waste of time. Tonight is night two of the Parish Mission, and rehearsals for this evening were cancelled. Working my normal 1-8 shift would have been silly, then. I'm working 10-5 instead, and have been doing next to nothing productive. The baby boy did not come to the office last night, but a baby girl did. The cantor couple I occasionally babysit for did a baby swap between rehearsals in my office, so I got to see both girls, baby and otherwise. I feel beat up and blah after yesterday. The event itself went generally smoothly, and it had its good points. Just between the heat and nearly 12 hours spent at the Cathedral...bleh. I wish I had never put Paul and Storm on my iPod. I would not rest until I learned all the words to three specific songs, and I did.

But now those songs are in my head. Curses!

My only job today is to call brides. That will take ten minutes. Must create some work.
